It seems like every year employment law is growing more complex. Well, 2018 is no exception. From new wage and hour provisions, to immigration and leaves of absence, the legal landscape is once again shifting. Michael Goldfarb, Esq., is a 28 year employment attorney and President of Guardian HR, a national provider of legal and HR consulting services. Mr. Goldfarb will run down the new laws and discuss their impact on business.
Michael Goldfarb, Esq. is the President of Guardian HR, a national employment law and human resources consulting firm. Mr. Goldfarb has been an employment law attorney for 28 years and has counseled companies of all types and sizes and conducted numerous jury trials. He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Ventura County Bar Association's Employment Law Division and the American Bar Association. He has sat on several boards of directors, is a sought after lecturer in the area of employment law and has had articles in various publications including the Wall Street Journal. Originally from Montreal, Canada as he is fluent in both French and English. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Canada and his law degree in California where he graduated with honors and a member of the law review. He lives in Thousand Oaks with his wife Lily, son Evan and two dogs.

All registrations will require concurrent payment. DEADLINE is 03/12/18

$50 - Non-Members
*Anyone not registering by 03/12/18 will be asked to pay $60 at the door.
*Disclaimer: You must be a member of DCAHU to qualify for the member rate of $30.
If you are not a member, but sign up at the $30 member rate, DCAHU requires that an
additional $20 be submitted to total $50.
2017-2018 Meeting Refund Policy
*Members Only: DCAHU will allow members a ONETIME-PER BUDGET YEAR pass to roll over their lunch fees to the next meeting if they had a TRUE EMERGENCY that came up within 72 hours of the meeting and outside of the regular cancellation policy (72 hrs). If they DO NOT attend the next scheduled luncheon meeting, there will be NO REFUND, even if they have called to cancel that well in advance of the 72 hrs of that meeting.
*Non-Members: DCAHU requires a 72 hours cancellation notice prior to the meeting.
Any cancellation made after will not be refunded.
